Mark Hurley

Mark Hurley came to Northeast Mississippi Community College from
a Plant Science background. Prior to starting a teaching career at NEMCC in
1992 he worked as a research associate for Mississippi State University and
the University of Kentucky. While at MSU and UK he worked with vegetable and
fruit crops in the areas of plant breeding and genetics, plant pathology,
other areas related to crop production, as well as statistical analysis of
experimental data. In the years since arriving at NEMCC he has made the
transition from cultivating plants to cultivating students. |
