Michelle Baragona

Michelle Baragona, a 1995 graduate of Booneville High School,
obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 1999 from Louisiana Tech University in Animal
Biology. During graduate school at the
University of Southern Mississippi, she studied molecular biology of marine
organisms. These studies included
population surveys using genetic fingerprinting and bioengineering
techniques. After receiving a master’s
degree in 2002 from Southern Miss., she began teaching at Northeast
Mississippi Community College in the biological sciences. In 2009, she earned a doctorate degree in
science education from the University of Mississippi. |
