Tom Hill

Tom Hill, a 1976 graduate of Ripley High School, attended
Northeast and then obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 1980 from the University
of Southern Mississippi in Computer Science. He worked in industry for four
years. He next obtained a Master’s degree in CS from Ole Miss. He pursued a
Ph.D. while teaching at Northeast. His Ph.D. thesis was automated grading
systems for Microsoft Excel and Access student assignments. He is the author
of four automated grading programs freely available on the internet: Word Grader, Excel Grader, Access Grader
and PowerPoint Grader. He is married to the former Nell Wallis of Ripley
and is the proud father of six children: Scott, Micki,
Paul, Morgan, David, and John. |
